Corporate environmental management

Our operational environmental management and environmentally conscious behavior are central components of our corporate philosophy. We focus on measures to avoid and reduce energy and material consumption, emissions, waste and waste water. We continuously invest in this area and develop our strategies further. As a security service provider, we actively respond to the effects of climate change, particularly in the area of open-air events, and integrate environmentally relevant factors into our security concepts. We work closely with our customers to achieve this.

Processes

  • Digitization of office processes and the guard book

  • Use of needs-based and low-emission vehicles

Procurement and maintenance of materials

  • Sustainable procurement for the kitchenette and catering at the work site
  • Maintenance and care of vehicles in our own logistics area in the immediate vicinity of the office, at a VDA e.V. certified master workshop
  • Procurement of environmentally friendly consumables in large batches
  • Use of ecological cleaning agents and energy-saving light bulbs
  • Use of water dispensers and filters to optimize tap water
  • Preference for electrical appliances with the Blue Angel seal and recycling of old appliances

Energy consumption

  • Switching off computers during longer breaks and at the end of the working day
  • Use rechargeable batteries instead of batteries for various devices
  • Time-controlled heating

Fair working conditions

Fair working conditions are an integral part of our success. We rely on long-term fixed contracts to promote employee loyalty and ensure low staff turnover. Our employees recommend us to others, which indicates their satisfaction. We mainly work with permanent employees and only use freelancers for events. These are mostly billers, sideline workers, our own registered temporary staff or subcontractors who are also bound to us by a fixed contract and thus secured. Our temporary staff are fully registered and insured. A significant proportion of our personnel recruitment is carried out via recommendations from active employees, which has proven to be effective and appreciated.

The human resources concept

It goes without saying that our employees receive the remuneration stipulated in the collective agreement and can compensate for overtime by taking additional time off. Many employment contracts include monthly public transport tickets. We meet all commercial requirements and even go beyond them, for example by compensating travel times and offering generous rest periods.

We attach great importance to the qualifications and training of our employees in order to meet both our quality standards and the well-being of our employees. Individual further training measures, training courses and structured employee feedback processes are an integral part of this. Our employees also undergo programs for dealing with stress and conflict. Special and recurring coaching is provided by the „Tolerance through Education“ association in Berlin, under the direction of Dr. Siegfried Wolf, President of the Baden-Württemberg Karate Association and Head of the „Self-Defence“ department at the German Karate Association.

The optimal preparation and training of our employees as well as an appropriate infrastructure are crucial for the successful implementation of our operational goals. We also communicate our customers‘ values to ensure that our employees understand their working environment.

Social commitment

Our social commitment extends across various areas, including conflict management, violence prevention and integration. We are partners in numerous cooperations and memberships, such as „Tolerance through Education“ and „Weisser Ring“, where we actively participate on a voluntary basis. We train our employees to become violence prevention trainers and train trainers in schools and government offices in this area, mostly on a voluntary basis or in return for reimbursement of costs. In the area of integration, we currently employ staff with a refugee background in event logistics and are committed to the integration of their families. We offer sports and leisure activities as well as support with language acquisition. As a training company, we take our responsibility seriously and employ trainees in the areas of commercial clerks and security and safety specialists.

Support of women and work-life-balance

In our company, we implement various measures to promote women and the compatibility of work and family life. These include

  • Prohibition of any form of discrimination against female employees
  • Targeted encouragement of women to apply for internships, apprenticeships and jobs in male-dominated professions
  • Offering special training measures for women to prepare them for higher-level and managerial positions
  • Surveying employees about their preferred working hours and introducing appropriate measures
  • Offer part-time and flexible working time models to reconcile work and family life
  • Development of models for full-time part-time work and expansion of teleworking
  • Opportunities to participate in company training and return-to-work agreements for employees on parental leave
  • Provision of in-house mentors for employees returning to work
